Just when it seemed like things were looking up for the Detroit Pistons, they went on the road and suffered a pair of disappointing losses.

First, they made 22 turnovers Friday in a 90-78 loss to one the NBA's best teams, the Memphis Grizzlies

Then, they followed it up by blowing another double-digit lead Saturday in a 92-77 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, who had lost three straight and four of five.

Center Greg Monroe took responsibility for the loss in Dallas after having his worst offensive game of the season.

• "Greg Monroe was to the point. He took full responsibility for the Pistons' latest loss, a 92-77 thumping from the Mavericks on Saturday night.Monroe suffered through a nightmarish performance that saw him go 4-for-17 from the field – with many misses coming close to the basket. "I got to make those. There are no excuses," Monroe said in the American Airlines Center visitor's locker room. "My teammates played too hard tonight for me to not convert those shots. "Those were definitely makeable shots. Those are shots that I should make. ... Not converting all those shots was unacceptable."
