"Josh McRoberts doesn't have the low-post skills of Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert.

That's OK. McRoberts did other things to help make up for the loss of Hibbert (sprained jaw) against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.

The one-time Carmel High School star, making just his third start of the season, scored 14 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds to help the Pacers beat the Wizards 99-82.

The Pacers have won four in a row and six straight at home. They will go for their fifth straight victory Friday against the Utah Jazz.

McRoberts had the Conseco Fieldhouse crowd rallying behind him early when he had four points, two rebounds and an assist in the first three minutes of the game.

Forward Danny Granger scored a game-high 31 points and Troy Murphy had 12 points and 19 rebounds for the Pacers.

The Wizards, on a 13-game losing steak, were led by center Andray Blatche with 21 points."
