"Frank Gore had his sore right knee examined Monday, but that's mostly because, as coach Jim Harbaugh said, the 49ers "spare no expense checking on Frank."
Gore was seen moving around Monday without a limp, and Harbaugh said he thought the running back would be able to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
Gore entered Sunday's game against the Giants with a sprained left ankle, then appeared to injure his right knee after a hard tackle by defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul in the second quarter.
Gore didn't carry the ball the rest of the game and was in for only two additional plays, both as a pass blocker."
