"Though reports of a forthcoming three-game suspension for Bengals RB Cedric Benson surfaced nearly two weeks ago, No. 32 is still running strong after laying down 104 yards in Sunday's 23-20 upset of the previously unbeaten Bills.

Yet Benson currently remains in limbo after appealing the ban last week, and his status for Week 5 and beyond is murky.

But is that about to change?

"I assume the decision will be coming shortly," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told NFL Network on Monday, though he said someone else in the league office heard Benson's appeal."
