Glen Davis commits one of the stranger technical fouls in recent memory

"Whatever happens the rest of this season, the Orlando Magic will be hard-pressed to commit a stranger technical foul than the one Glen Davis was whistled for on Wednesday night.

Late in the third quarter of the Magic's 85-83 overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Tony Parker threw an alley-oop pass for Richard Jefferson. Davis contested the play at the hoop, and he was called for a personal foul when he made contact with Jefferson.

Davis immediately approached the official who made the call, ostensibly to argue, and Davis pulled down his shorts, revealing black Spandex underneath.

Davis was whistled for a technical seconds later.

Parker made the technical free throw, giving San Antonio a 53-50 lead.

A Magic spokesman would not comment.

Davis has three technicals so far this season.

This regular season, players and coaches can compile 12 technical fouls without receiving an automatic suspension.

A one-game suspension would occur after someone receives his 13th technical foul. Additional one-game suspensions would be levied for every two techs thereafter."
