Orlando Magic player Glen “Big Baby” Davis is apologizing for throwing a temper tantrum and breaking a computer at a downtown Orlando motel over the weekend.

TMZ Sports first reported the incident, posting the hotel's security camera video on its website.

“In regards to the incident that occurred on Friday night, I want to sincerely apologize for my actions,” Davis tweeted on his account, iambigbaby11. “There is no excuse for what I did. I was obviously wrong and I take full responsibility. I apologize to the Magic, my fans and the city of Orlando."

Orlando Police confirmed they received a 911 hangup call about 4 a.m. Saturday from the Travelodge at 409 N. Magnolia Ave. and went to investigate. But when they arrived the complainant canceled and did not want a report written about the incident with Davis, so police left.

According to TMZ, the incident happened following the Magic's home loss to the Celtics on Friday night. The website said Davis tried to get a room at the motel, but when he was told it was sold out, he reached across the desk and ripped a keyboard from a computer.
