"Got an e-mailed press release a few weeks ago from a publicist representing Laura Govan, the former live-in ex-fiancé of Gilbert Arenas.

The publicist was shopping a story about what a terrible person, father and boyfriend Arenas is and how he abandoned his kids on Christmas and left the family destitute.

Here's a couple of excerpts from the press release:

"This Christmas season Laura Govan became Santa Claus and was forced to scramble for presents. Gilbert Arenas left her and four of his children (three kids and one baby on the way) without even a greeting of Merry Christmas over the phone and no money for the holiday season for presents for the children. Govan was cut off from any financial support from Arenas."
