"Corey Webster does not really bask in the glow because he's not that kind of guy. But he certainly was enjoying his place in the spotlight after his two interceptions against the Bills, both well-timed pickoffs of Ryan Fitzpatrick while covering Stevie Johnson that were instrumental in the Giants heading into their bye week with a 27-24 victory.

Proudly, Webster stated it was the first two-interception game of his NFL career, which now is in its seventh year. It was a nice achievement -- but it was not a first for Webster.

"It wasn't?'' he said yesterday. "I thought it was. I lied to you last time. I did say that, though. I said the last time was college. Somebody reminded me. Dallas game, here.''"
