For the second time in six days, Tim Lincecum was scratched from a scheduled start because of a blister on his right middle finger.

Lincecum had been scheduled to face the Cleveland Indians on Thursday in what would have been his second start of the spring. Instead he will throw on flat ground, and if his finger checks out, Lincecum will move to a bullpen mound at Scottsdale Stadium to throw 25 pitches.

Manager Bruce Bochy said there is no concern about Lincecum, who has not pitched in a game since Feb. 26.

"There's all this time left," Bochy said. "To be honest, I don't mind if somebody has got to back it off."

Bochy said Lincecum feels much better than he did Saturday, when he was scratched from a scheduled start. "Is it perfect?" Bochy said. "No."
