No Giant knows right fielder Hunter Pence better than second baseman Ryan Theriot. They battled for years in the National League Central, spend time together away from the ballpark and share an agent. Theriot was pumped about Tuesday's trade for Pence, who infuses a much-needed dose of power into the Giants' lineup.

"He can run, he gives you professional at-bats, he's a dangerous hitter, he hits hard groundballs, which always fits here, and he's got good walk-up music," Theriot said, "always boy-band stuff."
