After having had a few days to stew over it Giants defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins on Thursday playfully unloaded on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for accusing him of faking an injury in Sunday night’s Dallas win over the Giants.

“I don’t know what he saw’’ Jenkins said. “Maybe he needs to get his son-in-law to clean his glasses so he can see better. I got a stinger in my shoulder (on the play). If he goes back and sees the play (on tape) I was clearly down before the whistle.

“I think he just wanted something to say. At his age I’m just glad he still has a sense of humor. They got the win so I guess they got the last laugh.’’

Jones mocked the Giants to Dallas reporters after the game accusing them of feigning injuries and that has incited the Giants who have flatly denied doing any such thing.

“It was so obvious it was funny’’ Jones said after the game. “It wasn’t humorous because we really wanted the advantage and knew we could get it if we could get the ball snapped.”
