Angel Pagan had another MRI on his left hamstring Friday and is awaiting a prognosis from a team doctor. Manager Bruce Bochy said the Giants would probably announce Pagan's latest prognosis after Friday night's game.

Pagan aggravated the injury Thursday night while making his first rehab appearance with the San Jose Giants. He pulled up while running out a grounder to second and had to be carted off the field.

Pagan has not played since May 25, when he hurt his hamstring early in a game that he won with a walk-off, inside-the-park home run. The center fielder got a cortisone injection days after the injury and then received a platelet-rich plasma injection on the last road trip because the injury still had not properly healed.
