"Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf has been cleared to skate starting Monday and likely will return to the lineup during the team's trip that begins Feb. 9, the team announced.

A follow-up CT scan Wednesday showed Getzlaf's nasal sinus fractures are healing and stable, and he will be held out the next two games as a precaution, according to the team.

The Ducks are on break because of the All-Star Game this weekend. They play San Jose on Wednesday and at Colorado on Feb. 5.

Getzlaf was hit in the face by a shot from Phoenix captain Shane Doan that ramped off the stick of Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler on Dec. 28."
