Presumed starting Georgia cornerback Malkom Parrish has suffered a broken bone in his foot that required surgery, according to DawgNation’s Seth Emerson, who cited “a source with firsthand knowledge of the situation.”

Parrish has started all but one game over the past two seasons, so a multi-week loss would be a major blow to Georgia’s secondary with the opening game against Appalachian State University little more than two weeks away.
