Georgia redshirt freshman linebacker Davin Bellamy was arrested early Saturday and charged with driving the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to the Athens Clarke-County jail log.

Bellamy, 19, was booked into jail at 5:02 a.m. and made $2,000 bond to be released at 6:22 a.m. Athens Clarke-County police are listed as having made the arrest.

A DUI arrest has carried a mandatory punishment of a two-game suspension in recent years, per UGA's policy for student-athletes. While not a starter, Bellamy was expected to be in the two-deep at linebacker.
