Daily News:

Lakers forward Pau Gasol told this newspaper he plans to seek medical clearance to participate in running drills once the Lakers return Thursday from a two-game trip.

After tearing his plantar fascia against the Brooklyn Nets, Gasol was sent back to Los Angeles for a second opinion after his initial diagnosis in Boston. It was confirmed in L.A. that Gasol would be out a "minimum" of six-to-eight weeks while recovering.

On his current status, Gasol said things "have been good", via Medina:

"Things have been good," said Gasol, who's expected to miss at least two to four more weeks. "No pain, a little bit of stiffness."
