Matt Garza follows Ryan Dempster in the Cubs' rotation, and also in the trade spotlight.

Garza took the mound against St. Louis on Saturday, with several scouts on hand to watch the Cubs right-hander.

"I think all these rumors are going to keep going, and there's nothing you can do about them until it happens," manager Dale Sveum said. "That's part of the gig."

Garza threw three scoreless innings before being removed to start the fourth. The Cubs announced he had cramping in his right triceps, but X-rays on the arm were negative.
