So the poor Cavs are not only not very good, but their best player got hurt and then nearly lost his life. Anderson Varejao had surgery on his quadricep and then ended up in the surgery room again when they found a blood clot in his lungs. Needless to say, Varejao is lucky to be alive and we wish him well. The news gets worse for Cleveland as 2nd year stud Kyrie Irving sprained his ankle and is questionable for tonight's game. Things just aren't going well for Cleveland this year.

There is just a smidge of good news for the Cavs, the Spurs are likely still without the services of Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. San Antonio might also be without Tony Parker and Stephen Jackson, both of whom are listed as questionable. Bad news for the Cavs, the Spurs are still pretty good at beating teams even without their three best players. The Spurs have won 13 of their last 14 games, most of which have been played without at least one member of the vaunted Big 3.
