"Fred Taylor continued his late-season resurgence with a solid performance in the Patriots' 34-27 loss to the Texans yesterday.

Taylor missed 10 straight games recovering from surgery to repair ligament damage in his ankle suffered against Baltimore in Week 4. He returned to action last week against Jacksonville but didn't play until the fourth quarter, when he had 11 carries for 35 yards. Yesterday he was in for the entire game.

"I felt pretty good, but I've still got a lot of work to do,'' Taylor said."
