"Linebacker Scott Fujita got approval from Browns coach Pat Shurmur months ago to take Monday off and fly to New Orleans.

Monday wasn't a special birthday, a party for an important anniversary or even the expected date for the birth of a child. But Monday was reserved for something just as meaningful to Fujita.
