FSU OL Ira Denson is not practicing with the team, according to coach Jimbo Fisher.

Denson, who missed a majority of his freshman season with a shoulder injury, was not at Thursday’s offseason conditioning drills, which were made open to the media.

He is still enrolled at FSU, per Fisher.

“We’re going to evaluate how he does,” Fisher said. “He’s got to continue to do well, we want him to do well academically. If he does, he does. If he doesn’t, we’ll have to adjust.”

Denson (6-3, 330) attended high school at Madison County, which is less than an hour from FSU. He was a considered a four-star recruit by 247 Sports and was listed as the No. 151 prospect in the Class of 2013.

Denson had a cryptic message from his personal Twitter account in January: “Time for chAnge lord knows it is bout Time for a change of scenery goodbye da old ira Denson welcome back da old humble ira Denson GOD 1st.”
