Michael Frolik scored twice, as did Patrick Sharp, as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Minnesota Wild 5-2 at the United Center on Friday night.

The Blackhawks take a 2-0 lead over the Wild in their Western Conference quarterfinal series, as the teams head to Minnesota for Game 3 on Sunday.

As tough as regular seasons have been for Frolik offensively, he’s had a pretty nice postseason history. Frolik now has six goals in 13 career postseason games, and tallied his second of the night – a short-handed goal -- 49 seconds into the second period and 15 seconds into the Wild’s power play.

Meanwhile, Sharp spent a few minutes after Thursday’s practice shooting pucks. He said he was just working on a few things. Apparently it worked. Sharp got his first two of this postseason to solidify the Blackhawks’ lead, the first eventually being the game-winner.
