"Dwight Freeney arrived at Sun Life Stadium at 1:50 p.m. Sunday and began receiving treatment on his injured right ankle, but word has not come down about his ability to play for the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl.
Freeney was expected to test the torn ligament on the field by 4:30 p.m., according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.
He watched the Colts' final Super Bowl practice from a golf car on Saturday.
The All-Pro defensive end hasn't practiced since tearing a ligament in his right ankle late in the AFC title game Jan. 24. "
