Freddie Freeman showed exactly how brave he is when he elected to return to the diamond three weeks earlier than slated by initial projections after injuring his wrist.

Freeman had success upon his return, but has since leveled off. Now that they dust has had time to settle, Freeman insists that all is not well.

The two-time All-Star says that over time his wrist has continued to steadily lose strength.

That's certainly jarring news and can't sit well with Atlanta fans. With the team far and away from being in the running for a playoff spot, the best course of action to take may just be to deactivate Freeman so the wrist can get a proper rehab.
