Filip Forsberg’s first NHL road game will likely be a little more difficult than most. He’ll be going into a pretty hostile environment — the United Center in Chicago — where fans like to stand up and cheer through the national anthem and get quite loud throughout games.

Also, tonight’s Predators opponent — the Chicago Blackhawks — is the best team in the NHL.

“Yeah, I’ve heard it’s going to be an awesome night tonight with a crazy crowd out there,” the 18-year-old Forsberg said. “I’m looking forward to playing a very good team, and hopefully we can beat them.”

In his first two NHL games, Forsberg, a 2012 first round pick, has drawn some tough assignments, playing against Pavel Datsyuk in the Predators’ Sunday loss against Detroit, and the Sedin twins in Nashville’s Monday loss against Vancouver.

Friday should be no different for Forsberg, who coach Barry Trotz said would go head-to-head against the Blackhawks top line, which includes All-Stars Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa.
