"The Lions are in need of linebackers and a former Pro Bowl middle linebacker is in need of a team.
Sounds like a good match, especially when former Titans and Giants linebacker Keith Bulluck went on a satellite radio program Monday and identified the Lions among the three teams he'd be interested in playing for.
The New York Giants and New England Patriots were the others.
"Bulluck loves Jim Schwartz from the Titans days," Adam Schein sent out via Twitter on Monday.
Schein is the host of NFL Radio's Blitz show on Sirius-XM radio.
Clearly, though, Bulluck, 34, is nearing the end of his career. He's amassed 1,108 tackles in 11 seasons, but he had just 31 in 13 games, with two interceptions, for the Giants last season.
It was a frustrating season for Bulluck, in that he signed with the Giants to be their starting middle linebacker and wound up playing outside, essentially in running downs only at strong-side linebacker."
