Former Mississippi State Bulldogs talent Mario Kegler has committed to the Baylor Bears, a source told FanRag Sports on Sunday. Per NCAA transfer rules, he will have to sit the upcoming voyage before being eligible to play in the 2018-19 college basketball season.

During his lone season with Mississippi State, Kegler averaged 9.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. He also shot 42 percent from the floor and a solid 35 percent from beyond the arc.

The 6-foot-7 wing was a 4-star talent in the 2017 recruiting class.

Mississippi State is coming off a solid, if unspectacular, 2016-17 season. By the time it was all said and done, the Bulldogs had an overall record of 16-16.
