CSU basketball earned a commitment Wednesday from former Iowa State guard Bubu Palo.

Palo, who announced his decision to the Ames Tribune, was dismissed from the Cyclones' program at the end of the 2012-13 season when he was found to have violated ISU's Student Code of Conduct. He was accused of second degree sexual assault in September 2012, but the charges were dropped the following January.

As a junior at ISU during the 2012-13 season, the 6-foot-1 Palo averaged 2.8 points and 1.7 assists in 17 games. He did not play last season.
