"Former Georgia running back Caleb King, who was ruled academically ineligible for his senior season, has applied for the NFL's supplemental draft and will hold his pro day for scouts on Monday, Aug. 15. The draft is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 17, according to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.
"Pending league official eligibility approval, Caleb is remaining very optimistic that he will have an opportunity to continue his career at the next level," King's agent, Kevin Conner, said in a release obtained by NFL.com. "He's looking forward to his tentative Pro-Day at UGA on August 15 at 10 a.m."
King rushed for 430 yards and two touchdowns on 80 carries in 2010."
