Jacob Tamme is calling it a career.

The former Broncos tight end took to Twitter on Thursday to announce his retirement from the NFL after nine seasons.

A 2008 fourth-round draft pick of the Colts, Tamme made 92 grabs for 855 yards and five touchdowns across 60 appearances for Indianapolis.

In 2012, he followed quarterback Peyton Manning to Denver, where Tamme caught 86 passes for 848 yards and five scores over three seasons.
