The Nets pursued Ersan Ilyasova last summer, even taking his agent, Andy Miller, on a tour of the then-incomplete Barclays Center. But after the Nets traded for Joe Johnson and intermittently pursued Dwight Howard, he got lost in the shuffle and ultimately signed a five year, $40 million deal ($32 million guaranteed).
He told Fred Kerber that he was disappointed it didn't work out for him and the Nets, but that's he's beyond it now.
