"Timberwolves guard Jonny Flynn practiced Sunday and then accompanied the team on an afternoon flight to Boston, where he vows to play Monday night against the Celtics.

Flynn missed Saturday's home victory over New Jersey because of a sprained ankle suffered in practice on Thursday. He will be re-evaluated before Monday's game against a Boston team missing former Timberwolves superstar Kevin Garnett but with point guard Rajon Rondo just returned to the lineup from a sprained ankle.

Before Saturday's game, Flynn said he would practice Sunday and play Monday. He was held out against the Nets even though he said he said, "Actually, I feel pretty good," because he didn't participate in practice Friday."
