"Rockets second-year forward Patrick Patterson played 15 minutes off the bench, his first playing time of the season. With just two full practices of preparation while coming back from offseason ankle surgery, he struggled with his shooting touch and conditioning.

"Not quite there yet, but I'm on the correct path toward getting to 100 percent," said Patterson, who missed all four of his shots.
