Jonny Flynn claims that, as much as he wants to play again, he's in no hurry.

"We're just going to take our time with this one," he said.

One of the world's leading orthopedic hip surgeons repaired Flynn's torn labrum and shaved down bone on his joint socket two months ago in July, a procedure intended to resolve the pain Flynn says he felt in his hip much of last season.

Wolves basketball boss David Kahn hopes Flynn can return to running and the court after an Oct. 18 checkup in Colorado and says the second-year point guard will play a game again sometime in November, which would preclude the Oct. 27 season opener against Sacramento."
