Trent Richardson's ex-girlfriend and mother of his four children was arrested Monday night and charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of criminal mischief for allegedly ramming a Mercedes-Benz SUV into a car containing Richardson and another victim.

Richardson told the Escambia County Sheriff's Office his ex-girlfriend, Sevina Fatu, has told him, "If I can't have you, no one can," according to a police report.

It was the second recent alleged domestic violence incident involving the former Alabama star running back and Fatu. In February, Richardson was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence in a separate incident with the same woman at a Hoover hotel.

Speaking publicly for the first time since he was charged in February, Richardson emphatically denied that he attacked Fatu in an exclusive interview with AL.com.

"What's out there isn't the truth," Richardson said. "I swear I didn't hit her."

The 26-year old Richardson, who is trying to resurrect an NFL career, was arrested Feb. 16 at Hyatt Place Hotel in Hoover following an altercation with Fatu. Police said an argument began at a local Walmart, continued when the two returned to Richardson's hotel room and eventually turned physical.
