This was a piece of the offense the Chargers knew they needed.

Unfortunately, this season confirmed that notion.

Only in December did the Chargers offense become complete, in large part because only then was Floyd entirely healthy.

"I let my team down," Floyd said. "… It's not over yet. But so far, man, I think I underachieved as far as the goals I set. It wasn't my potential."

The reality is something only resembling that.
