Florida has named its starting quarterback for the Vanderbilt game, according to ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum.

After helping lead the team to a come-from-behind win against Kentucky, redshirt junior Luke Del Rio will get the starting nod this week, McElwain told Finebaum. Del Rio finished 9-14 for 74 yards and a touchdown against Kentucky, throwing one interception.

"Moving forward to this week, Luke will take the starting reps in practice and yet the other two guys will still get their reps as well," McElwain said. "We'll see where it goes from there."

The communication on offense seemed much better once Del Rio entered the game.

Del Rio had a strong fall camp and was firmly in the mix to start the season, but the coaches opted for redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks instead. Franks started the first three games, but he was replaced late in the game against both Michigan and Kentucky.
