Florida needed another legit back-to-the-basket post player for its roster in 2015-16. Noah Dickerson needed a new home after decommitting from Georgetown. On Sunday, the two came together.

Dickerson has committed to Florida, he told CBSSports.com.

"Coach [Billy] Donovan is a great coach," Dickerson said. "He develops players, and he has great character. That's one thing I love about him. He's a great person outside of a coach."

Dickerson, a 6-foot-8 big man from Montverde Academy (Fla.), chose the Gators over LSU, Georgia Tech, Washington and others. He was originally pledged to Georgetown, but reopened his recruitment in June after the Hoyas took a commitment from center Jessie Govan.
