Albert Pujols was voted in by the fans at first base and was the leading votegetter among NL players. This will be Pujols' ninth straight All-Star Game and it's the second time in a row he has led the overall voting in the league.

Catcher Yadier Molina, despite his .231 average, was named the starter at his position for the second straight time. He also celebrated this morning the birth of a baby girl, Arianna, born Saturday night."
