"Timberwolves point guard Jonny Flynn used a physical therapist's version of a rolling pin to massage his body before Wednesday's game at Phoenix.
Martell Webster immersed himself in ice water, then a hot tub a day after both he and Flynn made their season debuts in Tuesday's 108-99 loss at Golden State.
Both declared themselves perfectly fine after seeing their first game action since each underwent distinctively different surgeries.
"I felt great," Flynn said. "No stiffness, no tightness."
Flynn played 16 minutes and Webster 26 in their debuts. They were deemed fit to play again Wednesday against the Suns, although Wolves coach Kurt Rambis said he wanted to limit Webster to about the same number of minutes he played in Oakland the night before.
"They said 15 to 20 minutes for yesterday's game and I ended up playing 26, so I'm open for whatever, no restrictions," said Webster, who played 23 minutes in Wednesday's 128-122 loss. "I feel fine. I'm not sore at all. Now it's just getting into a routine and sticking with it."
Flynn and Webster are getting tested from the start. Wednesday's game was the second in a stretch where the Wolves play four games in five nights.
"This definitely will tell us if we're really back," Flynn said. "This is a tough stretch to start out. If we can go through this stretch and play this, with the injuries we're coming off, we can go through any stretch. If we can do this, we're really back.""
