The Senators winger, who asked to be allowed to return to Russia if he wasn't going to play with Ottawa and got his wish, couldn't come to a contract agreement with CSKA Moscow of the KHL.
As a result, Senators GM Bryan Murray moved Filatov's rights to Binghamton Saturday."
