Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho has said he is adjusting to the pressure and pace of the Premier League well since his summer move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Brazilian star sealed a £34million switch from Shakhtar Donetsk to become the club’s second signing of the transfer window.

He looks to have settled into the team well establishing a firm partnership with fellow midfielder Yaya Toure and notching an assist in City’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday evening.

And the 28-year-old has revealed he enjoys his new surrounding in the English top flight and insists he has more to give.

“The Premier League is a very good quality championship it’s very strong” said the Brazil international.

“Each game is tough you play against strong teams and my performances are good so far.

“I’m linking up with my teammates well and I hope I can keep this form and give more to the team in future games.
