Neftali Feliz spent the off-season preparing for a full season as a starter, but has no problems with the Texas Rangers skipping his start this time through the rotation.

Feliz won't make his scheduled start Saturday against Tampa Bay, as the Rangers are using last Saturday's doubleheader, coupled with today's off day, to give Feliz extra rest. He allowed a solo home run in one inning out of the bullpen Wednesday, and could see relief duty the first two games against the Rays.

The Rangers have Matt Harrison, Colby Lewis and Derek Holland scheduled to start this weekend against the Rays. Yu Darvish will pitch the opener Monday at Toronto on five days' rest, followed by Feliz and Harrison.

"It's fine with me," said Feliz, who converted from closer to starter this season. "I'm just trying to help out the team to help them win."
