The boos were loud and pointed. Watching the Flyers go on a powerplay up a goal and then having them behind by the time the Pittsburgh Penguins' penalty box was empty disgusted the Wells Fargo Center faithful.

That's when Ilya Bryzgalov's latest good-grief day in the nets was over, this late second period benching seemingly a signal for Flyers fans to really let him hear it.

And that wasn't the half of it.

The Flyers have been a mess for a couple weeks now, and things only got worse in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

This was a train wreck, everything from the Flyers allowing two short-handed goals on the same power play to the third-period collapse to a series of postgame comments that make you go hmmm — the topper another doozie from Bryzgalov, who summed up his mind-set saying, "I'm just trying to find peace in my soul to play in this city."

Oh, brother!
