There are so many ways to measure a defensive lineman besides sacks, but sacks are perhaps the most important measure of a pass rusher.

And Ezekiel Ansah's sacks are way down no matter how you measure it.

In the Lions' last 22 games, Ansah has just six sacks. In the 22 games before that, he had 14.5.

That's a decline of 55.2 percent.

Ansah has gotten a piece of a sack in just four of the Lions' last 22 games. He had sack in 13 of the 22 games before that.

That's a decline of 69.2 percent.

No matter how you look at it, Ansah's sack numbers are down. But coach Jim Caldwell didn't seem overly concerned about the waning production during a news conference Monday in Allen Park.
