"The stress of being a free agent can wait for Packers center Scott Wells.
Right now, at the first Pro Bowl of his eight-year NFL career, the former Brentwood Academy and University of Tennessee star just has too many other things to think about.
"I think something like that could weigh on you if you allow it,'' Wells said Wednesday from Honolulu. "But I'm not going to let that happen, not now at least. Right now, I am just enjoying the moment. I am soaking all of this in with my family, and everything else can wait."
A year after winning a Super Bowl ring, Wells was voted by fans, players and coaches to his first Pro Bowl for his performance during the 2011 season. It comes at the end of a year when Wells started 16 straight games for the second straight season. Wells has started 100 games over the past eight years for the Packers."
