"Suspended RB LenDale White admitted to smoking marijuana while playing the NFL and said it was his use of the drug that triggered the four-game suspension he's facing.
White, cut late last month by Seattle after being traded to the Seahawks from the Titans in April, said he has stopped using the drug. He told the Tennessean:
"I did it, so it is my fault. I smoked marijuana; that is all I have ever done. That's all I do, that's it. I smoke. I don't care about any other drugs, but it's marijuana. … But I have changed. I am a good man. Unfortunately the stuff that I did in my recent past caught up to me in the present and it's affecting my future.''
The Seahawks never gave an explicit reason for cutting White, who was reunited in Seattle with his ex-USC coach, Pete Carroll. And White said no one told him why he was cut."
