"It is unclear whether Rasheed Wallace's playing days in Boston are over.

The former Piston announced his retirement after the Celtics lost in the NBA Finals in seven games to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wallace averaged 9.0 points and 4.1 rebounds during the regular season. He had big games against Cleveland and Orlando in helping the Celtics to the Eastern Conference title.

Since Wallace has not commented on his retirement, there's speculation he has had second thoughts about retiring. He'll be 36 on Sept. 17."
