"Nearly 10 years after his departure from Detroit, Phoenix Suns forward Grant Hill still has a familiar feeling when he walks though The Palace.

"It's always fun to come back -- just driving around town, getting to the hotel, it brings back a lot of good memories," Hill said Friday ahead of the Pistons-Suns game. Hill finished with 17 points, six rebounds and eight assists as the Suns beat the Pistons, 109-94.

As a young NBA player with the Pistons, Hill's popularity was rivaled only by Michael Jordan's, and Hill was possibly the best all-around player in the game, a triple-double waiting to happen. In his first six years (1994-2000) he averaged 21.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists."
