After two consecutive blowout losses in sunny Florida, the Pistons got a day off Tuesday. But coach Lawrence Frank probably spent the day trying to devise ways to bounce back.

The Pistons are 17-16 since a 4-20 start but got dominated by the Heat and Magic by a combined 53 points over the last two games.

One problem is Greg Monroe's lack of involvement in the offense. When the Pistons face the hapless Bobcats on Thursday in Charlotte, it's a safe bet Monroe will get more than the seven shots he is averaging over the last two games.
